Trinity Health
VP panel.
8/10 walking in.
Held it through three rounds.

Vince Savickis has done more VP-level interviews than most people will see in a career. He'd never walked into a panel feeling more ready. ShortList plus the new coaching standard output was the unlock — and Vince was the first person to run on the new format.

◆ Setup

A senior leader who'd already done the work.

Vince came in with the resume, the track record, and dozens of prior VP-level panels under his belt. None of which has ever stopped a senior interview from feeling like a coin flip. The panel either reads you as "obviously the candidate" or as "good but not quite" — and the difference, after twenty years in the field, usually comes down to forty minutes of one room.

The Trinity Health panel was a real seat. It was also a panel where the org's last two hires had not stuck. The pattern was visible. Vince wanted to be visibly different.

◆ What ShortList did

The first ShortList that came with a coaching block.

◆ Outcome

Held the read through every round.

The confidence Vince walked into round one with held through round two and round three. The pattern recognition ShortList gave him didn't decay — because it was right.

Vince was the first practitioner to run on the coaching standard output. It is now part of every ShortList that involves a senior interview path.

"The coaching block was the unlock. I'd done dozens of VP interviews and never felt that ready. 8/10 confidence walking into a Trinity Health panel — and I held it through three rounds."
